Dreamcatchers and Other Crochet Projects

These are some crochet projects that I've done over the past 12 months. I have crocheted very little. More of my time is spent on looking after the animals (we have ducks, pigs and chickens), cooking and cleaning up. However, in past two months, I decided to be more organized. I have a Pleasant Activities Schedule which ensures I spend appropriate time on things I enjoy doing. These are crochet (includes sewing, beading, fiber arts), writing (blogging, poetry, other creative writing), music (playing the piano and reading up on music theory), gardening and painting. Exercise is also now an important part of my schedule. I am slowly taking up the Scientific 7-Minute Workout.

I made these necklaces and headbands using a combination of crochet, sewing and beading.

I was able to make a few dreamcatchers using embroidery hoops I never used. The white dreamcatchers are crocheted in size 10 crochet cotton thread and the colored dreamcatcher is crocheted in fingering weight acrylic yarn.

There are also a couple crocheted table centerpiece and covers that I finished over several months. I worked very slowly and intermittently.

Sunday is crochet and fiber day. That's next week. I intend to finish the colored dreamcatcher and start writing crochet patterns again. How are you? I hope all is well with you.
